Upgrades take effect immediately and you get prorated credit. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period so you keep full access to your features until then.
On Free, each active (non-archived) document counts against your 5-doc limit. On Starter, Pro, and Team, there is no document count limit at all, upload as many as you want, as long as you are within your plan's total storage.
You'll get a heads up before you hit your limit. From there you can archive or delete old documents to free up space, or upgrade your plan for a bigger storage pool.
Yes. File size upgrades are a one-time purchase that permanently raises your per-document upload limit. Buying the 100 MB boost after the 50 MB boost simply sets your limit to 100 MB, not 150 MB.
